As the article says, TS is an engineer, not a biologist. Maybe a subsidiary works on biological stuff but one would think that when TS stopped the company from manufacturing arms he'd have gone into full clean-up mode and gotten rid of other currently-abhorred things such as animal testing. Wasn't the spider from Oscorp? Why change that? My favorite idea is that TS will 'live on' in the AI for one of his suits.

I don't think that Disney had the rights to Oscorp. and, from what I've seen, they've done away with the whole character arc of Peter beating himself up because he feels responsible for Uncle Ben's death -- there is no Uncle Ben mentioned in this one. And, they've also done away with the whole "with great power comes great responsibility"... because that whole awkward, stumbling answer to Stark's "what gets you off that twin bed everyday question" could have easily been answered with that rather than "when you can do the things I can, and you don't and the bad things happen they happen because of you."

Someone on YouTube (I forget who) said that Stark's line, 'If you need the suit to be a hero then you don't deserve the suit' or somesuch in Homecoming replaces the 'great responsibility' line since it's similar. The whole situation with Aunt May being much younger and no mention of an Uncle Ben and Tony Stark seeming to take Uncle Ben's place in Peter's life has quite a few reviewers talking. I think we'll need to see Far From Home to find out if Peter's grief over TS's death will be the same sort of spur that Uncle Ben's death in the comics and earlier movies has been.
