SW: TROS will be out on the 20th. Will you be seeing it in theaters, or like me, wait until it hits home availability?

For the first time since the franchise began, I may not even bother to see it in theaters (if I see it at all). Best case would be I go all 21st Century and rent it with Google Bucks and watch at home. What's really "educational" is that now I know how some fans felt with Episodes I, II and III...

I'll be waiting until it drops in one of the rentals. Won't even bother buying it. Thing is, Johnson screwed it all up by making a solely stand-alone movie that would have been just fine in-universe if it wasn't supposed to be the fulcrum of a trilogy and if it didn't feature Luke Skywalker as Jake Skywalker, disillusioned Jedi master. Abrams has to ret-con VIII within IX, which is what I hear he's tried to do, making for an exposition-heavy, action-oriented, at the expense of story, slog of a film. All I can say is, Baby Yoda's so cute!

No, they weren't smart enough to put Baby Yoda into the movies. Should have, didn't. He's on The Mandalorian and he's so cute! He's a puppet, so practical effects, and they nail the behaviors and sounds of a small child. The show seems to be trying to normalize certain things that also appear in ROS that have been contenitous, but they come off so much more natural than in the sequel trilogy. It's a good show, highly recommend.
