Erasing Last JediWishing they'd use another label for it. They already obliterated the Extended Universe (comics, detailed literary history) as Star Wars Legends.

Hail Doomcock! I saw his original video. Sounds interesting. The aftermath has been stupendous. Some are all for it, some are regretfully for it and a couple have mentioned that there is no way to re-make a sequel trilogy because of Carrie Fisher's death. What fans wanted, and what Kennedy and Johnson ignored, was to see the original trio together again one last time. Johnson, as director/co-writer of the second installment in the trilogy, had that responsibility. He blew it, and Kennedy signed off on it. Adding to that, Carrie Fisher died before TLJ was released, which normal people might have seen as a good reason to re-edit their film, making the attack on the Resistance ship Fisher's last scene, but no. Let's keep with the original plan to have the original trio die off in reverse order. Bad idea.
Kennedy has dropped the ball. There are rumors now that she won't be staying on when her contract expires in 2021 (or is it early 2022?) and of course, they'll talk about how wonderful she was and how she's moving on to newer pastures with an all-female production company of her own (more rumors). Kennedy had a stated agenda, to promote more females in the Star Wars franchise. Her agenda was placed over story and fans. I don't see where SW needed any awakening as far as women's lib goes since we all know that Leia was a bad-ass from day dot and the (now discredited and relegated to 'legends' status) extended universe also had bad-ass females. KK picked the wrong project to force her agenda.
