Lol! It's a cliff-hanger so I can tell you what's in the box: the next and last episode. I agree with the article. My speculation exactly. I don't know what you'll think when you watch, but that's my take.

Was finally able to see the episode this morning. Tried yesterday, and I think the Disney+ website went down. I know I lost the connection to it. But, our internet was just fine. Of course, it could also just the our li'l ole two or three year old Roku stick..

Our Roku's old, too. Works. Disney might just have had an overflow of viewers. Happens sometime.
Other than all the talking, I'm liking this series. Not as much as WandaVision, and I hope Loki will be better, but this isn't what I thought it would be. BTW, did you catch the mid-credit scene? They did this with WandaVision, too - toward the end of the run they stuck in a mid-credit scene or two. We'll have to remember that for the Loki show. If you did catch it, will this introduce U.S. Agent?

More likely introducing Marvel's "The Dark Avengers". Or, could be that, with Walker off the rails, they could have an actual scene of "Captain America" saying Heil Hydra! if we consider the lady with the "boots ain't made for walking" from Episode 5 and who she probably is.

Just watched a video that says F&WS isn't as popular as WandaVision was. That's pretty bad, considering that WandaVision didn't do as well as other streaming shows during its run. It's by that couple, the one where you didn't like the wife's rant because her voice gets shrill. She doesn't get shrill in this one so I'll post the link. Anyway, other than the action sequence at the beginning of the first episode, it was bland. A bunch of preaching - no way would any bank official deny an Avenger, especially one from their own town, a loan. The advertising they could get from that alone makes up for any problems caused by the Snap. When I think of the first episode, that's the sequence I remember, not the very good action sequence starting it off. The second-born and SiL stopped watching after that first episode because it was, her words, boring.
They're offering up the B-string to TV audiences. People are aware. What a lot of people don't realize is that Iron Man was pretty much B-string when they ran the first movie ten or eleven years ago now. Looking back, it's like Iron Man was always the face of Marvel when that honor went to Spider Man. These now-adults, though, were kids when that first movie dropped so they've grown up thinking that Iron Man was always A-string.
The first episode, with its boring and unbelievable banking sequence, turned people off. It's less popular than its predecessor which was originally supposed to be its successor. It's still uneven, bouts of yammering for the sake of yammering juxtaposed with action and plot development. I want to know what Walker plans to do with his mundane material shield but I'm not too interested in whether Sam gets a loan or not. I feel sorry for Elijah and his loss of faith but I'm not invested. I want Sam to have the shield and be the New Cap because he's the most like Steve, not because he's black. He deserves it. The shield is like Thor's hammer that way - only the deserving should wield it. Oh, and I'm also somewhat invested in Zemo's arc here. Loved his action sequences, but again, they were uneven - the philosopher propagandist as Batman v. the apparently peace-loving, super-soldier hating, criminal. Is everyone in this hiding all the faces of Eve? It's bad that Sam's a better therapist than Bucky's original doctor. And one other thing - the puns, as in those boots not made for walking - I get it, but how many twenty-somethings did?
