Yes, I know but hope springs eternal because a moving target is that much harder to hit. Just in case.

IMDB and other sites are listing it as season 1. They also list WandaVision and Falcon/Winter Solder as season 1s as well. They are the first season. Whether there will be second and possibly subsequent seasons is up to the audience numbers.

I sort of like how the TVA looks so very. very much like what the future (at that point all the way to the year 2000) was supposed to look like back in the Art Deco 30s and some of the 40s and early 50s.

Yeah, it has that Danish modern look to it. As a reviewer mentioned, it's brown. Very, very brown. Like all those earth-toned things from the 1960s - avocado or golden wheat fridges and so forth, wood paneling, orange carpets, and some furniture. what got my attention was the square profile of the ceiling lights on the carpet of the viewing room. they're so crisp, no bleed at all yet the entire room is lit up.

I'm still up in the air about the series. I haven't watched the second episode yet (we watch over dinner after the husband gets home) but I have reservations. Ep. 1 wasn't as boring as Ep. 1 of Falcon/Winter Soldier but it wasn't as intriguing as WandaVision despite the teaser at the end. Not sure if Marvel is throwing their best at this. It feels as though I was led down the garden path with the DB Cooper teaser in the trailers - I thought the series might be about how Loki was all of these mysterious people in history. I could have gone for that, a different person per episode. I'll withhold judgment until at least one more episode, but if it deteriorates into a bunch of exposition, I won't be happy.

I'm just not motivated to watch this. We waited until last night to see the current installment. Loki has been one of my favorites since the 1960s, so this is more about the quality of the show than the character.
Last week we met Lady Loki, who is, according to this week, going by the name of Sophie or somesuch. She does some cool body-jumping, then disappears through a portal. Our Loki follows as the TVA types try to catch up. This week we see that she wandered back to the TVA where she intends to see the honchos in control of this weird section of the Marvel universe. We also see how the TVA drone wound up spilling the beans on their whereabouts and we find that, instead of being created by these honchos, the TVA drones were once humans and somehow became Variants. The two Lokis fight, our Loki does something, and they're both transported to a planet that is on the brink of destruction.
The rest of the episode is the two of them trying to leave before the planet is destroyed. I can say that they both run well. I can say that I doubt that our Loki, in previous phases of the MCU, would not have gotten totally drunk at this point. They do have a discussion about potential partners in their pasts and the homo/hetero/bi thing does come up vaguely and is resolved quickly, a ship passing at night, silent engine, lights off. More running, earthquakes, meteors (I think), and a cliffhanger.

Okay, she's going by 'Sylvie'. Got that straightened out.
The current installment is interesting, raising questions for me. Does the timeline result in a nexus event if two of the same person are together? Who's the puppetmaster? Who is that guy dressed like 1960s Loki? Will Loki and Sylvie ever kiss?

How many Lokis disrupt the universe? Many. Including Alligator Loki.

He doesn't play a very big part. He's buddy-buddy with Kid Loki.
Last episode of the season aired tonight. Best music of the season, and of the entire MCU TV shows, at the end. There's also a Simpson short with Loki.
