Meh. I think a lot of the commentators are right - Marvel shot its load with Endgame and people just aren't as receptive. Some properties, like Spiderman in any iteration, will fly, but the newer ones won't get the attention the previous Marvel offerings have received. I'm looking forward to Shag Chi coming to D+, but am not at all interested in the Eternals. Spiderman yes, Hawkeye no. What Ifs, meh, I'll watch them because we already have D+. Haven't watched the third one yet.
If they're looking for a Latino actor, I'd think they'll go with the second iteration and make him part Navajo and part Mexican, to (try and) avoid criticism for hiring someone who isn't exactly what they want to portray. The way things are going, though, they'll get flack for not offering the part to a real werewolf. Btw, did you know that the 'were' in 'werewolf' means 'man' as in 'male'? Used to be Wereman and Wifman for the male and female. 'Man' of course means human. With reduction and stuff we ended up with 'Man' dropping the 'were' and 'Woman', a reduction of 'Wifman'.

Yeah, picked that factoid up at some point in the past and was reminded of it again when it was mentioned by Snape in the Harry Potter where Lupin is the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor at Hogwarts.

Good ol' Snape. Always teaching.

Actually, Snape reminds me more than a little bit (if only in personality) of the high school science teacher who would deliberately mispronounce my last name. And, while this would have been understandable in freshman year, the git was still at it when I was a junior (went to another school senior year).

Sounds more like a drill sergeant. If they see that it upsets you, they pull out all stops and pound that organ until the rafters shake. One soldier in my platoon had a German surname beginning with "Pf". DS starts out with Fizzler and never let up.
My name is unusual. In the previous marriage, it was wholly unpronounceable if you didn't know it. DS didn't even bother because how could he mess it up more? I knew when I was about to be called wherever I was because the poor soul tasked with bringing patients or clients back would look at my file and just stare. Most didn't even try. The ones who did almost invariably got it wrong. One enterprising soul went for the fairly common middle name. Lol! Had to give that one props.

Not even close. He was a skinny, nerdy man-child bully with delusions of tin plated godhood power tripping it over the high schoolers unfortunate enough to be trapped in his classlessness.

Lol! Still sounds like a DS. My head DS was a skinny, short guy with a barely-mustache. We never doubted he could kick ass, though. Don't know about your nerdy little wannabe.
