Yes, as in Sam Wilson's home town (ant that almost looks like one of the spots they might have filmed in)...
Would probably fall under Sarah's desktop folder of "Shit I had to deal with while you was Snapped, Samuel!"

I almost said, 'Ida who?' thinking this was a Marvel character.
Yeah, might be some of the places they filmed. And yes, one of the things Sarah would have had to deal with while Sam was dusted. So far, doesn't look as bad as Katrina, thank goodness! NO doesn't need that again.

Katrina hit as a 5, this one was a 4. But, from what I read a day or so later, it appears that the Army Corps of Engineers plumped up the numbers just a bit when they sent them to Congress and the planning committees so that they could rebuild much better around NO. Even though "Old Man River" backed up again this time, it didn't cause as much destruction and havoc as it did back in '05. And the numbers for lives lost is no where near what it was in '05.

'05 was a cluster. Nothing was done right and people died.

Yea, '05 was definitely a flustered duck.

For some reason that only my subconscious knows, I still zone in on the scene at the football dome, with all those people and the lights out. As a spectator, that's my image of Katrina. Not the coffins, not the mold crawling up walls, not the dead or the boats in the streets, just that botched refugee situation.

Somewhere in our collection of family photos, we have several developed rolls taken by Spawnette from the Exit 189 bridge over I-45 looking southbound as those who could made their way up from the areas to be impacted the day before Katrina made landfall. Double lines of vehicles as far as could be seen headed north on both sides of the interstate. She even turned around and took a few shots facing north at the lines of cars, again, as far as could be seen. I think our now home town gained about a 1,000 people at that time who were not able (for whatever reason) to move back to their homes further south.
And yes, that image of the Superdome with all those people trapped there. We would never have known if it hadn't been for at least one national news crew that was also sheltering there.
really flustered ducks all around on that one!

We've had a couple of those all-lanes-lead-inland moments since we moved here. A sight to see.
