Trailer ‘May Literally Be the Funniest S– I’ve Ever Seen’Wonder if they'll lose their s- when they find out that Marvel actually took a run at this in the 1980s and wasn't able to pull it off? The poster (if it isn't the real thing) was a reprint of the one they actually were going to use for the production. And, no Star Spangled Man With a Plan was not one of the song titles.

Lol! 1980s? Might have made CPT America great again in those days. Wasn't that when he had an existential crisis in the rags?

Wasn't reading the Captain America titles in the 80s ( Transformers, GI Joe, Star Wars, Rom, Space Knight). I tried to find the article that had popped up in my news feed when I got to my desktop and couldn't locate it. Any Google search just brought up variations of the Hawkeye piece. And, right now I have what feels like either a cluster or a sinus headache starting up (feel rather like I took a hard left hook from the Winter Soldier). Have taken a BC -- which is apparently crying in the corner instead of fighting the pain. So, doing a lot of online searching isn't going to work at the moment.

Meh, it was sometime back then, either the '70s or '80s. Heck, maybe even the '90s. Doesn't matter. It happened.
My sinuses aren't too happy today either. Not as painful, more stuffy with no chance of draining. Just got my bone density thing back. No osteoporosis, just something called 'osteopenia. So, I'm browsing around and thinking, why not just say, 'pre-osteoporosis'? I have to qualify that, though. My lower back and right hip joint have this 'osteopenia', the left hip joint is just fine. Weird. Putting calcium on the list for next week.
I wasn't reading anything in the '80s besides what I could grab off the cheap book rack or whatever I got out of the library. Like I said, I hadn't seen my Howling Commandos since the '70s. Had kids, had a job, had housework and fun things to do, like just up and heading to the desert at nonce o'clock. It was fun. One time we just decided, me and the kids, to head off to Yosemite, something like a seven- or eight-hour drive. Slept at a gas station in Fish Camp. On the way back that night, at somewhere around four in the morning, we got lost in the Los Angeles Chinatown. Good times.
