That's making the news over at YouTube, too. As mentioned in the other thread, most of the new releases have been moved back a couple of months. Indiana Jones 5 was pushed back almost a year. Currently, YouTubers are talking about the Immortals, which was screened for critics in the last couple of days, or so it seems. Big news from the critics: it looks stunning and you've got to stick around for the post-credit scene. Apparently, Thanos had a brother..? Gawd, can you imagine that family with those two growing up?

Yes, Thanos had siblings. Parents. A planet of people. If I misremember correctly, Titan was where he was from (don't think it was the same Titan as the moon in our solar system) and that devastated planet he fought the Guardians of the Galaxy, Ironman, Spider-Man and Dr Strange was what was left of Titan. And the destruction was caused by his people going after him because that whole mind-set of "kill half the life to save the other half" wasn't a recent thing. He'd been doing it one inhabited planet at a time -- which is how he came to "adopt" Gamora. He and his army invaded her planet. He pulled her out of her mother's arms and put the population into two groups. Gamora's family wound up in the group that was murdered sacrificed so that the other half of the population could survive and get past the environmental crisis they were experiencing. At some point after that, the Mad Titan got lazy and decided to go after the stones and "save" the Universe in one fell swoop.

I knew Thanos had a home world. I assumed most of the people there were the same species as Thanos. I'm talking about one brother who thinks half the universe should be dusted and another who merits a Marvel post-credit scene.
