Yes, it hit shelves yesterday. We got our DVD copy and there was a sign on the rack Limit Two Per Customer and the packaging was more robust that usual -- as in the "DVD only" was actually not just shrink-wrapped, but in a hard clear plastic box. And hubby said that it looked like it would betray any attempts at tampering.
We got ours from WallyWorld. Was the robust packaging just their paranoia or or did any one else note extra packaging/protection and limits on units?

I haven't been to the stores yet. I avoid stores generally. I'll ask the husband to pick one up, probably this weekend when I've had the time to soften him up a bit (he's not into the comic book movies.) He'll bring it home as packaged, so I'll see then. But then, he'd probably get it from Walmart...

It took a while but we finally rented and saw Infinity War. Gorgeous movie! I liked it. And of course, all this time, I've been trawling for reviews and even fan theories. Plenty of them out there. So, do you think Loki actually died? If not, who was he in the movie? What about Ant-Man? What about Gamora?

Damn! I thought I posted that YouTube video listing who was dusted and who wasn't.
The only survivors of the Guardians of the Galaxy after the dusting settled were Gamora and the rabbit... er, I mean Rocket.
When we saw the movie in theaters, the scene where Thor calls Rocket a rabbit, two people within my hearing muttered a correction of "trash panda, thor."
As for Loki dead or alive. I'll wreck a line by Dr Banner from the original Avengers.
"As for Loki. His mind is (like) a bag of Schrödinger's Cats. You can smell the uncertainty principle on him."
Marvel is infamous about characters they supposedly kill off. And Loki abuses the privilege.

Gamora died. Are there two movies out? Thanos tossed her off a cliff when he grabbed the Soul Stone - his 'sacrifice of the thing he loves most.' Which is hogwash, IMO - he loves his agenda more than life itself but he didn't give that up. Maybe you're thinking of that blue girl whose name I forget off the top of my head. I thought Starlord also lived, but I've only seen it once (so far).
Here's another question all over YouTube - did Thanos die with the snap? Did he die when he acquired the Soul Stone and the rest of the movie was his dying dream? Is he dead?
I thought it was a good movie, one of the best MCU movies so far. Thor being funny was a relic, I think, from Ragnarok, but I like it. Ooh, about Thor's new eye - is it magical? It sparks when he puts it in.

Sorry! The blue girl neither of us can name is Gamora's sister. At least, if we're both thinking of the one Thanos had hanging up and would stretch her out like one of those Plasticine displays of a human just to hear her scream.
