Outdated linkWill be interesting to see the response from the younger set when they see people walking around and not having their nose in their phones -- because... no smart phones. Wonder if they'll have some mom and pop video stores with people renting movies like Star Wars: A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, Disney animated movies. Will they mention "beeperlepsy" (and does anyone besides me remember that)? LOL

I don't remember the phrase 'beeperlepsy' but I do remember beepers and hating the idea that business people now couldn't avoid their bosses and jobs. The erosion of the family, ladies and gentlemen!
I hope they do go all retro on that movie. I loved that they did in Captain America and I trust them to do it right again.

"Beeperlepsy" referred to the near full body flinch when said beeper suddenly went off.
Also wondering.... WebTV anyone? Folks who went online with this (and admitted it) were looked down on by the elitists snobs of the internet (not called the World Wide Web just yet, I think) as being lower than an admitted AOL (aka Always Off Line or AOHell) user.
Also, ghod forbid you admit you have an Apple computer (or use GEnie)

I didn't have WebTV but some people I saw online did. It seemed especially good for people with vision problems. AOL - oh, that 'virus'? That's what the husband called it.
Not touching any Apple products except their earphones. Good earphones.
